Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Indiependr.ai (“the Platform”), you agree to these terms. The Platform is operated by HEIMLANDR. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. The Platform

Indiependr.ai provides AI-powered tools for independent musicians, including but not limited to: music distribution, social media management, website building, analytics, design tools, content generation, playlist pitching, and autonomous AI band management (Gridbands).

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • One account per artist or band. Band accounts support multiple members via invites.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • The Platform offers paid subscription plans billed monthly via Stripe.
  • Prices are listed on our pricing page.
  • You can cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.
  • Revenue from ticket sales and merch is paid out via Stripe with a 5% platform fee plus Stripe processing fees.

5. Your Content

  • You own your content. Music, lyrics, images, and other creative works you upload remain yours.
  • You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process your content as needed to provide the Platform services.
  • AI-generated content (social posts, blog articles, designs) created by the Platform on your behalf is yours to use.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to all content you upload or distribute through the Platform.

6. Music Distribution

Distribution to streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) is provided via EVEARA. Distribution is subject to EVEARA's terms and the policies of each streaming platform. We do not guarantee acceptance by any platform. Royalties are reported as provided by the platforms.

7. AI Features

  • AI-generated content is created as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publication.
  • We use third-party AI providers (Anthropic, Replicate, ElevenLabs, RoEx). Generated content may be subject to their terms.
  • Gridbands (autonomous AI bands) operate under your control settings. You are responsible for content generated by your Gridbands.

8. Prohibited Use

  • Do not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property.
  • Do not use the Platform to distribute harmful, illegal, or fraudulent content.
  • Do not impersonate other artists, bands, or labels.
  • Do not attempt to manipulate streaming counts or game platform algorithms in ways that violate streaming platform terms.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Platform beyond its intended use.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep things running, but we are not liable for downtime, data loss, missed distribution deadlines, or streaming platform policy changes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before any claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.
